Now that 2017 is in full swing, we’re on the hunt for hotels and resorts are offering health and wellness programming that help guests stay on track for health and wellness. From wellness classes and full moon yoga in Florida to the art of doing absolutely nothing in Vermont, below are a few properties to keep in mind for wellness in 2017.
Experience the Jetset To Health Series being offered at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, a unique workshop that is designed to help guests incorporate healthy behaviors into their travel. The series which launched in early 2017, will have a specific theme each month with weekly workshops every Friday from 10-10:45 AM. Guests will gather on the spa terrace to learn the best and latest tips on how to ensure that health and wellness is a top priority when traveling this year. This past months theme in January focused on ’Top 10 Tips for a Healthy Trip.” Attendance is complimentary, no sign up required and guests can simply be escorted/directed to the Spa Reception. Additionally, this year the spa introduced full moon yoga which takes on the cool white sand beaches of Sarasota.
With one of the premier spas in Southwest Florida, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is the great escape to unwind and get back on track with healthy goals for this year. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Naples offers an extensive menu of therapies utilizing natural elements allowing guests to replenish with treatments designed specifically with their needs in mind. One of the spa’s most intuitive treatments, Time is the Essence, solely focuses on the individual needs with a unique treatment designed by the therapist to enhance both physical and well-being. Additionally, groups such as bachelorette parties traveling to the resort together have the option to book on-demand wellness workshops with spa professionals based on their needs with a range of topics such as skincare and digestion.
The Art of Doing Nothing— Celebrate relaxation in picture perfect surroundings at Twin Farms this winter. Give yourself a break and embrace the benefits of doing nothing at this legendary property. Allow yourself to sit in stillness by the fire. Read a book cozied up in bed or watch the snow fall onto the Green Mountains. Let the property take care of you. Spa experts will come to your room or cottage for a deeply relaxing massage. No need to decide what to have for each meal, the renowned culinary team will base each meal off your pre-provided preferences. Take a stroll through the property’s picturesque 300 acres of meadowlands and let your racing thoughts go as you connect with nature. Spend a weekend celebrating the art of doing nothing.
